  • Brush the stain with baking soda powder by using a stiff brush or clean towel.
  • Let the baking soda sit for at least 20 minutes to loosen the dried stain.
  • While waiting for the baking soda to do its magic, prepare for the homemade cleaner solution. This cleaner contained a mixture of ¾ cup of warm water, ¼ cup of vinegar, and 1 tablespoon dish soap. Then, put the mixture in a spraying bottle. 
  • Once your time hits off, brush off the baking soda from the couch, or better yet vacuum it.
  • Damp a clean cloth with the mixture and rub it to remove the stain on the sofa.
  • Because the mixture will produce a good amount of bubbles, take another clean cloth and damp it with clean water to remove the bubbles.
  • In the final step, you only need to let the couch dry.
